Seventy percent of transformations fail — and the failure is almost always detectable before the kickoff. This 15-question Readiness Index scores four dimensions that McKinsey, BCG, Kotter, and Prosci independently identify as the make-or-break prerequisites: culture, capacity, leadership, and process. The output is a composite score, a per-dimension pattern, and a clear verdict on whether to proceed, strengthen, or reset before launching.

Transformation Readiness Index

Is your organization ready for a major change initiative, or will it fail before it starts?

A 15-question deep assessment that evaluates your organization across four readiness dimensions: Culture, Capacity, Leadership, and Process. Benchmarked against industry norms, the report highlights your biggest Readiness Gap and provides targeted recommendations.

How to use this tool

Work through the four sections, answering each question based on current organizational reality. The assessment takes about 8 minutes. After providing your contact details, you will receive a multi-page PDF report with your readiness score, dimension breakdown, and specific recommendations for closing gaps.

The four dimensions, and why each matters

Culture — whether the organization has a recent track record of absorbing change without collapsing trust. Past transformations cast long shadows.

Capacity — whether people have the bandwidth, skills, and resources to do the new work on top of running the business. The most common silent killer.

Leadership — whether the sponsorship is aligned, visible, and sustained. Not about charisma; about consistency under pressure.

Process — whether you have governance, milestones, and feedback loops designed for a change program, not just business-as-usual operating cadence.

How to act on your readiness score

A score above 75 means proceed — your bottleneck will be execution discipline, not readiness. Between 60 and 75, your transformation is viable but one specific dimension will break you if left unaddressed; fix that first. Below 60, do not launch: run a six-to-twelve-week readiness-build phase, then re-assess. Launching underprepared is almost always more expensive than delaying.

The per-dimension bars are more actionable than the composite. A low Leadership bar with high Capacity means the team can do the work but doesn't have the air cover to stick with it; a low Capacity bar with high Leadership means the top is ready but the middle will snap.
