What you get

  • Your question, and the rule we used to pick the cases, written out so you can check it.
  • Every matching case among 879 verified Decision Records, counted once however often it appears.
  • A count of what happened next, by outcome: called off, undone, kept with a write-down, kept and paid off, too early to tell. Each case is placed by the record’s own words, quoted.
  • One page per case: what was on the table, what the company chose, what it committed, what happened at 1, 3 and 5 years, and every source.
  • PDF for reading and Excel for your own cuts.

How it works

  1. Send your question below.
  2. Within 2 business days an editor replies with the selection rule, how many cases match, a price and a delivery date.
  3. If too few cases match to say anything, we tell you before you pay.

What it is not

It is not a forecast for your decision. The records cover decisions documented well enough to verify, which leans toward companies that lasted long enough to be written about. We state that limit in every casebook. See how the records are built on Strategy Precedent.
