Use the COUNT, COUNTA, and COUNTBLANK functions to count cells

Syntax: COUNT(value1, [value2], …), COUNTA(value1, [value2], …), COUNTBLANK(range)

Step 1: For COUNT and COUNTA, define the range of cells to count.

Step 2: For COUNTBLANK, define the range where blank cells need to be counted.

Step 3: Enter the appropriate formula in a cell and press Enter.
