“Tough times never last. Tough people do”

Today, most of us are going through tough times. The Coronavirus pandemic and its impact is unprecedented and unfathomable. While there are historic precedences – the plague, the Spanish flu and more recently the Ebola crisis in Africa, the Coronavirus is possibly bad as the affected do not show symptoms until much later than the infection.
Economic loss, emotional turmoil, and social distance are some of the many undesirable outcomes of this virus. In addition, there are a lot of vulnerable segments of society – the elderly, the indigent, the homeless, and those in jobs that are not secure.
But as Robert Schuller says, “Tough Times never last. Tough people do.”
Despite the financial, job, and other challenges, there will be a vaccine or a remedy sometime soon.
So please try to stay safe, build emotional resilience and try to help others where you can. And only read/listen/watch reputable sources for your information. Do not become one of the deniers or the dumb (like the folks partying in Florida) during this pandemic.
Be tough. Be resilient. Be empathetic.
