The Art of Following Up

    • First Follow-up
    • Second Follow-up
    • Final Follow-up

  1. Not receiving a reply doesn’t necessarily mean ‘no.’ The 3-7-7 Rule helps you effectively follow up without appearing pushy.
  2. First Follow-up: Send your first follow-up email 3 days after the initial contact. Keep it polite and concise.
  3. Second Follow-up: If you haven’t received a reply after 7 more days, send another follow-up, but this time with added value, such as sharing an article relevant to the recipient.
  4. Final Follow-up: After another 7 days, send your final follow-up acknowledging their busy schedule and indicating your move to close the conversation.
  5. The 3-7-7 Rule ensures you give the recipient enough time to reply while showing your continued interest and courtesy.
